Love this car wash because it’s so close by but tell me why only 1 bay is working with the credit card reader. All of the other ones you swipe and nothing happens. Also a lot of the bays seem to be having air in the line when using the wax and tire rim cleaner. It almost sprays a black residue into your car. So sadly I have moved over to Elgin and now I am much happier with my choice. The wash is called premier car wash of south elgin.

During the winter, they use hot water, which honestly makes a big difference. The water evaporates pretty quickly so it doesn’t just sit there and freeze. Definitely a lifesaver when it’s cold out. I also like their foam brush soap. It’s a bit more runny, but in a good way. It spreads around the car much easier. Some places make it super thick and it takes forever to actually get enough foam.

I got a subscription because it does a pretty good automatic car wash, and it’s more reliable and priced reasonably than the competitors. Also, the hours are amazing. The downsides are obviously the torn up parking lot that desperately needs to be updated, and also the scanner for the barcode for the automatic monthly wash does not read for me on the right bay. Today I had to reverse out of the right bay and go to the left bay in order to get the car wash. If these things get fixed, I will definitely update my rating.

Another great Spirit of America location. I come here regularly to spray off my work truck. Bring a $5 bill with you and you'll get 10 full minutes of wash time. Every wash bay I've been in has always worked perfectly and I've never felt like I was getting scammed. The pressure sprayer is strong but not strong enough to blow the paint off your car. The wash brush option almost has too much soap! I have used the automatic bays since my truck doesn't fit but from what I can see, people are in and out of them quickly.
